Lowell Spinners (32-41)

Spinners score a run in the eighth, overtake Hudson Valley 3-2

Angel Padron pitched the first five frames, allowing two runs – one earned – on five hits and a walk while whiffing four and throwing three pitches to the backstop. Durin O’Linger won his fourth game with four scoreless innings, giving up two hits and striking out five.

Everlouis Lozada laced three singles in five excursions but was picked off first and officially caught stealing second once. Cole Brannen bashed a triple and walked twice in five trips; Brannen was also caught stealing. Nicholos Hamilton notched a single and a walk in four appearances. Zach Sterry and Michael Osinski each obtained a single in four at-bats. Kervin Suarez walked twice in four sessions but was picked off first once. Charlie Madden drew a free pass and was plunked in four matchups. Alexander Martinez was hit by a pitch and stole a base in four attempts. Marino Campana took a base on balls in four forays.
