Today’s Minor League Scores

[Note: All Times EDT / All pitchers listed subject to change]

Salem Red Sox (44-26 / 87-52)

Salem begins its playoff run with a best-of-three semifinal series against the Myrtle Beach Pelicans in South Carolina. The Red Sox defeated the Pelicans in 10 of the 16 games this season.

Lowell Spinners (47-29)

For the first time in seven seasons, the Spinners will have a chance to win the New York-Penn league championship. The playoffs begin with a best-of-three series against the Hudson Valley Renegades today. Lowell defeated the Renegades in five of their six games this season.

DSL Red Sox 1 (2-1)

Red Sox get two in the fourth and the fifth, but rain keeps them from celebrating as the fourth game of the championship series was suspended in the eighth inning due to rain. The Sox and Rangers will resume today with the Red Sox holding a 4-1 advantage.

If the Red Sox finish off this game, they will be champions. If the Rangers come back to win, they will play the fifth and final game directly after finishing the suspended game.
